Privacy policy.
Short version: Your profile is browsable; your forms are private. Vault documents are shown only to camps you explicitly attach them to. We don't sell data. Ever.
What we collect
- Profile data: name, grad year, position, height, club affiliation, GPA, test scores, highlight URLs.
- Forms: documents you upload to your vault (transcript, GPA verify, SAT/ACT, medical, releases).
- Activity: camp signups, starred items, searches you run as an institutional user.
- Account: email, hashed password, institutional affiliation for college/club/organizer accounts.
Who sees what
Public: profile basics, highlight-reel URLs, club affiliation, planned events. This is browsable by anyone without login.
Private: form files, email address (if privacy-toggled off), private notes by coaches, activity history. Never indexed.
Shared on attach: when you attach a vault form to a camp signup, the hosting program sees that document — and only that program.
What we don't do
- We don't sell data to third parties.
- We don't run ad-tech retargeting pixels.
- We don't share vault files with anyone other than the camps you attach them to.
- We don't contact colleges on your behalf.
Minors
If you're under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before creating an account. A parent or guardian may request a copy or deletion of a minor's data at any time by contacting privacy@sidelineassistant.com.
Retention and deletion
Accounts can be deleted from settings. Upon deletion, profile and vault files are removed from active systems within 30 days. Camp signups already shared with colleges remain in that program's records.
